Vilna Badi began this ministry in 2006 with a desire to reach people on the street as Jesus did. Over time, God led her to focus on women and men who have been involved in human trafficking. With an ethos of loving like Jesus, Mama V and her ministry walked the streets at night to offer hope and belonging to all in need in the street, the ladies, their pimps and their clients.
Our Home is the hub of Jesus4Real's ministry. It is a home being transformed and restored by the hands of those who come to live in it, reflecting the work that God has done and continues to do within them. It is a place where stories are changed and make-overs are real.
From setting up a vegetable garden and chicken coop or building and painting walls, to simply sharing meals and celebrating birthdays, Our Home is a central part of the lives of the Jesus4Real family. The property of Our Home was kindly loaned to them for a period of four years, and Jesus4Real has been given an opportunity to purchase it at a discounted rate before the end of this period - on July 2021.
