| This option allows for "virtual adoption" in which sponsors are able to form "virtual extended families" which are matched with specific vulnerable children within family-based care units. These care units can be at household, shelter, cluster or village level. The matching continues while the children navigate through a care and development plan. The matching is within a child rights framework and as such no direct contact with the children is encouraged. The matching is done by the care-based organizations who are working with the children and who are responsbile for their care. This option ensures that 100% of that which is donated is channeled to the children through the procurement of products and services. The intent is not to allow direct cash transfer. The Trust's SAP Business One ERP system ensures the secure delivery of the sponsored goods and services.

This option allows for support for the operational costs of the Trust. The Trust does not take any percentage of the sponsored income for the virtual adoption and support of the children. we believe that 100% donated to the children go the children and that our operational costs are funded through initiatives such as the "127 camapign". The monthly contribution of R127 per month is seen as a type of social investment and a form of shareholding in the social mission of the Trust.
